Chad: “Tavira is a small romantic town with loads of cafes, bars, and amazing restaurants. Julie and I literally just walk-through town and soak up the chill vibes. Walk the river, explore all of the side streets, Castelo de Tavira, and all the nooks and crannies downtown.
Plenty of wonderful places for dinner, but I’ll recommend – Aquasol as a must-visit. You’ll have to call, leave a message, and they’ll call you back to affirm the reservation. If you have some cash in your pockets visit the Michelin star A Ver Tavira. The food and the experience are amazing but expensive.
For just a beer and bar food check out The Black Anchor, an Irish pub that’s right on the Gilao River or just around the corner Terraze for a glass of wine.
Find your way to Cabanas and Santa Luzia, which are both little beach towns right outside of Tavira. Check out the towns and walk the beaches.”
